On 22/05/18 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Sections 14(1)(a) and (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph on B7038 Glasgow Road, Kilmarnock (from existing 30mph speed limit northwards for 370m) and B7081, Crosshouse to Kilmarnock (between existing 30mph speed limit at Crosshouse Hospital and the 30mph speed limit at Annanhill golf course). These restrictions are required to maintain road safety during the building development works on or near the roads and because of the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 26/05/18 until 24:00 hrs on 26/05/19 and will be implemented when appropriate signs are displayed.
