On 15/08/17 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by East Ayrshire Council (Mill Bridge, Mill Avenue, Kilmaurs) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2017 which expires at 24:00 hrs on 01/09/17. The Orders make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Mill Avenue at Mill Bridge, Kilmaurs (except vehicles engaged on the parapet repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 24:00 hrs on 01/09/17 until 24:00 hrs on 31/10/17, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via B751 and A735 and vice versa.
