On 28/02/17 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph on the B7083, Cumnock (from a point 98m northwest of Hoyle Cres to a point 20m southeast of Rigg Rd) a distance of 0.25 kilometres or thereby, and for any person to drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40mph on the B7083, Auchinleck/Cumnock (from a point 330m southeast of B7036 Church Hill, Auchinleck to a point 20m southeast of Rigg Rd)a distance of 0.5 kilometres or thereby, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation at 12:00 hrs on 07/03/17 until 15:00hrs on 30/06/17, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
