On 29/11/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Route U33 Woodhead, Newmilns (from A71 northward for 795m), except vehicles engaged on the Woodhead Burn Culvert works, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 05/12/16 until 24:00 hrs on 23/12/16, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A71 to Galston, north on A719 and U30 towards Newmilns and vice versa.
