On 24/05/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Well Rd (from B7083 Main St north-eastward for 88m), Auchinleck (except vehicles engaged on the Gas works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 08:00 hrs on 06/06/16 until 19:00 hrs on 11/07/16, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Vehicular access for Emergency Services and residents/owners/occupiers within the closurewill be permitted to and from their properties via School Rd only and there will be no vehicular access through the works site.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via B7083, B705 and School Rd, Auchinleck and vice versa.
