On 16/02/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any vehicle to wait or to load/unload from a waiting vehicle on Alstonpapple, Newmilns, from No’s 4/5 Alstonpapple eastwards for 47m, (with the exception of vehicles engaged on the A71 road works), by reason of facilitating the safe passage of construction vehicles to and from the land slip works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order will be in operation from 07:00 hrs on 29/02/16 until 16:00 hrs on 22/07/16 and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
