On 02/02/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Townhead Street (from the Car Park eastwards for 120m), Cumnock (except vehicles engaged in works to move the manhole), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 08:00 hrs on 15/02/16 until 16:00 hrs on 07/03/16, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via Glaisnock St, Ayr Rd, New Bridge St, Tanyard, Barrhill Rd and Drumbrochan Rd or via Drumbrochan Rd, Barrhill Rd, Lugar St, The Square and Glaisnock St, Cumnock.
