On 19/01/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Peesweep Brae, Lugar (except vehicles engaged in the works replacing the retaining wall), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

 

The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 25/01/16 until 24:00 hrs on 03/04/16, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

 

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure and emergency vehicleswill be permitted to and from properties via either Rigg Rd or A70 but will not be permitted to drive through the works site.

 

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

 

Alternative Route: via Rigg Rd, B7083 and A70 and vice versa.
