East Ayrshire Council (Sutherland Dr, Urquhart Rd, Farquharson Place, Lindsay Dr, Donaldson Rd & Grassyards Rd, Kilmarnock) Temporary One-way Traffic, Banned Turns and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2015
On 04/11/15 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order. This Order will restrict the use of roads as stated below. These restrictions are required to facilitate road widening works on or near the road in Sutherland Dr.
One-way Traffic
Sutherland Dr from its northern junction with Sutherland Dr access road outside New Farm Primary School to Grassyards Rd - all vehicles shall travel in a northerly direction.
Banned Turns
No vehicle shall be permitted to turn right onto Sutherland Dr from - Urquhart Rd; Farquharson Pl; Lindsay Dr; Donaldson Rd or Grassyards Rd.
No vehicle shall be permitted to turn left onto Sutherland Dr from Grassyards Rd.
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME
(Will be implemented in phases as the works progress)
Both sides of Sutherland Dr from its northern junction with Sutherland Dr access road outside New Farm Primary School to Grassyards Rd.
The Order will be in force from 06:00 hrs on 16/11/15 until 16:00 hrs on 29/02/16 and will only be implemented when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative route:- via Grassyards Rd, MacKenzie Dr, MacPhail Dr and MacDonald Dr.
