On 27/01/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by The East Ayrshire Council (Campbell Street, Newmilns) (Temporary Closure) Order 2013 which expires at 16:15 hrs on 09/02/14. The Orders make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle (except vehicles engaged in the Gas works) on Campbell Street (from A71, Darvel Rd northwards for 20m), Newmilns, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 16:15 hrs on 09/02/14 until 24:00 hrs on 28/02/14, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: via West Campbell St, King St and A71 Isles St and vice versa.
