On 26/06/13 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on route C135 at the Avon Bridge east of Darvel, (with the exception of vehicles engaged on bridge repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 00:01 hours on Monday 8th July 2013 and will remain in operation until 24:00 hours on Sunday 18th August 2013, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be permitted.
Alternative Route: via C135, B745 to Drumclog, A71 and vice versa.
