On 30/04/12 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the bridge protection works) on Cemetery Rd (from B7037 south-westwards for a distance of 100m), Galston, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

The Order is in force from 07:00 hrs on 14/05/12 until 16:00 hrs on 08/06/12, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier.

Pedestrian/vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties.

Alternative Route: via B7037 Cessnock Rd, Station Rd, Wallace St, Barr St and Cemetery Rd, Galston and vice versa.
