On 12/9/23 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (RIVERSIDE DRIVE, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Riverside Dr (Phase 1) eastbound between Riverside east roundabout and South Union St, (Phase 1A) no right turn from Riverside Ave to Perth Rd or Explorer Ave, (Phase 2) for a distance of 30m or thereby east of Riverside Approach for a distance of 10m or thereby west of Riverside pavilion and (Phase 3) for a distance of 20m or thereby west from Riverside Tesco roundabout to Riverside East roundabout. The Order is operative for 12 nights from 17/9/23 for carriageway resurfacing and road safety improvement works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Works will be carried out consecutively and between 1900 hrs and 0600 hrs. Alternative route: Perth Rd, Hawkhill, West Marketgait, South Marketgait and South Union St.
