On 5/9/23 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (COMMERCIAL STREET/MURRAYGATE JUNCTION, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic at the junction of Commercial St and Murraygate and for a distance of 30m or thereby in each direction. The Order is operative for 12 weeks from 11/9/23 for junction realignment and road surfacing works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Traffic is currently prohibited in this area (Commercial St and Murraygate junction) with the exception of buses, taxis, delivery and service vehicles Alternative route: Seagate, East Port Roundabout, North Marketgait, Ladywell Roundabout, Victoria Way, Victoria Rd, Meadowside and Commercial St and in reverse.
