On 23/5/23 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (NEVILL STREET AND MUIRFIELD ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily (1) all vehicular traffic in Nevill St from Muirfield Cr to no 5 (Phase 1) and from Strathmartine Rd to no 1 (Phase 2) and (2) all northbound vehicular traffic in Muirfield Rd between Strathmartine Rd and Muirfield Tce. The Order is operative for 6 weeks from 31/5/23 for SSE cable renewal works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Only one section will be closed at any time. Alternative routes: (1) Muirfield Cr, Binstead Ave and Strathmartine Rd and (2) Park Rd, Old Glamis Rd and A90 Kingsway.
