DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (CRAIGIE STREET AND ELIZA STREET, DUNDEE) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND VARIATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS)

ORDER 2022

Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to promote road safety by removing vehicular access into Eliza Street (southeast section) & Craigie Street (west end of carriageway) as there are currently no turning facilities for vehicles to manoeuvre back out of these sections of carriageway safely. Associated lining to be removed on Craigie Street as it will become unnecessary on the prohibited length of carriageway.

A copy of the Order showing the lengths of roads affected may be examined on our website during a period of 21 days from 16/9/22.  A copy of the plans can also be viewed by searching for "Traffic Regulation Orders" in the Roads and Travel section of our website.

Any person may within 21 days from 16/9/22 object to the proposed Order by notice in writing to the Head of Democratic and Legal Services, Dundee City Council, 21 City Sq, Dundee, DD1 3BY, or by E Mail to trafficorderobjections@dundeecity.gov.uk.  Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
