On 23/2/21 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (CHARLESTON AREA, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Dunholm Rd between Charleston St and Dunholm Tce, (2) Charleston St between Balgarthno Rd and Dunholm Rd and (3) the junction at Buttars St and Craigard Rd. The Order is operative for 3 weeks from 1/3/21 for City Fibre cable installation works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Only one road will be closed at any one time. Alternative routes: (1) Charleston St, Balgarthno Rd, Charleston Rd and Craigowan Rd, (2) Duncraig Rd, South Rd, Craigowan Rd, Charleston Rd and Balgarthno Rd and (3) Craigowan Rd, Balgarthno Rd and Buttars Rd.
