On 9/2/21 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (LOFTUS ROAD AREA, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Loftus Rd between Loftus Pl and Baldovan Rd, (2) Loftus Rd between Loftus St and Baldovan Rd and (3) Pitcairn Rd between Pitempton Rd and Baldovan Rd. The Order is operative for 3 weeks from 15/2/21 for City Fibre duct installation works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. More than one section may be closed at any time. Alternative routes: (1) Loftus Rd and Baldovan Rd, (2) Loftus Rd and Baldovan Rd and (3) Pitempton Rd, Harestane Rd and Baldovan Rd.
