On 17/7/20 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (UNION STREET, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) (NO 2) ORDER 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic all vehicular traffic from entering Union St at its junction with Nethergate. The Order is operative for 26 weeks from 21/7/20 for safer streets for pedestrians and cyclists, with a maximum duration of 18 months The prohibition applies to both left turn and right turn. There will be no access from Nethergate into Union St. Alternative route: Nethergate, Crichton St and Whitehall Cr.
