On 16/6/20 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (BROUGHTY FERRY, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will impose a 20 mph speed limit in the following streets in Broughty Ferry: Ambrose St, Bath St, Beach Cr, Boyd Pl, Bridge St, Brook St, Brown St, Cambustay Gdns, Castle Approach, Castle Ln, Castle St, Church St from A930 Queen St to Fisher St, Churchill Pl, Claypotts Rd from A930 Queen St to Brook St, Collingwood Cr, Cottage Pl, Cross St, David St, Douglas Tce, Dundas St, Dundee Rd from A930 West Queen St to Westfield Rd, East Home St, East Links Pl, Erskine Ln, Fisher St, Fort St from A930 Queen St to Fisher St, Gray St from A930 Queen St to Beach Cr, Home St, Hutton Pl, James Pl, King St, Lawrence St, Long Ln, Manor Pl, Mill St, New Rd, Panmure St from A930 Monifieth Rd to The Esplanade, Ramsay St, Rugby Tce, Seabourne Gdns, Shiell St, St Vincent St, Taymouth Pl, The Esplanade, Union St, Westfield Rd and Yewbank Ave. The Order is operative for 18 months from 22/6/20 to improve road safety for the higher levels of pedestrians and cyclists, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
