On 4/2/20 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (CARNEGIE STREET AND NORTH GEORGE STREET, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Carnegie St from its junction with Alexander St to its junction with North George St and (2) North George St from its junction with Carnegie St for a distance of 40m or thereby in a westerly direction. The Order is operative for 12 weeks from 10/2/20 for sewer works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Access for affected residents will be maintained where possible. Alternative route: Alexander St, James St, North George St and in reverse.
