On 27/12/19 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (HAREFIELD ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2019 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Harefield Rd from the east side of the junction (roundabout) with A923 Coupar Angus Rd to the west side of the junction (roundabout) with the entrance to Stack Leisure Park. The Order is operative for 8 weeks from 6/1/20 for the upgrade of existing pedestrian crossings, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Access to Stack Leisure Park will be maintained. The works will be carried out in 2 separate phases – Phase 1 on the north side of Harefield Rd and Phase 2 on the south side of Harefield Rd. Only one phase will be in operation at any time. Alternative route: A923 Coupar Angus Rd, Dunsinane Ave, Kings Cross Rd, Harefield Rd and reverse.
