On 16/7/19 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (ALBERT STREET, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2019 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Albert St (Phase 1) from Arbroath Rd to Arthurstone Tce (including junction) and (Phase 2) from north of Arthurstone Tce to Dura St. The Order is operative for 3 weeks from 22/7/19 for carriageway resurfacing works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes: (Phase 1) via Arbroath Rd, Dalkeith Rd and Pitkerro Rd and (Phase 2) northbound via Arbroath Rd, Dalkeith Rd and Pitkerro Rd and southbound via Dura St, Dens Rd and Arthurstone Tce.
