On 29/8/17 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (QUARRYSIDE, A923 COUPAR ANGUS ROAD AND DUNSINANE AVENUE, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily vehicular traffic in Quarryside, A923 Coupar Angus Road and Dunsinane Avenue, Dundee at the following locations; Phase 1: all vehicular traffic within that length of Quarryside, Dundee extending from its junction with Liff Road to Number 20 Quarryside, Dundee, Phase 2: all vehicular traffic in that length of Quarryside, Dundee extending from Number 20 Quarryside, Dundee to its junction with A923 Coupar Angus Road, Dundee; Phase 3 all northbound vehicular traffic within that length of A923 Coupar Angus Road extending from its junction with Quarryside to its junction with Dunsinane Avenue, Dundee and Phase 4 all eastbound vehicular traffic in that length of Dunsinane Avenue, Dundee from its junction with the A923 Coupar Angus Road, Dundee to its junction with Broomhill Road, Dundee. The Order is operative for 19 weeks from 04/9/17 for gas main renewal works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Only one phase will be in operation at any time. Pedestrian thoroughfare and vehicular access to premises will be maintained where possible.
