On 30/5/17 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (DRUMGEITH ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Drumgeith Rd from Ballumbie Rd to Hawick Dr (Phase 1), from Kellas Rd to Hawick Dr (Phase 2) and at Kellas Rd junction (Phase 3). The Order is operative for 4 weeks from 5/6/17 for carriageway resurfacing works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Only one Phase will be closed at any time with the approximate durations to be: Phase 1 – 2 weeks, Phase 2 – 1 week and Phase 3 – 3 days. Alternative routes: Drumgeith Rd, Douglas Rd, A92 Arbroath Rd and Baldovie Rd (Phases 1 to 3) and Kellas Rd, B978 and Ballumbie Rd (additional route during Phase 3).
