On 5/5/17 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (STRATHMARTINE ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Strathmartine Rd from Park Rd to A90 Kingsway (Phase 1), and from A90 Kingsway to Camperdown Rd (Phase 2). The Order is operative for 16 weeks from 15/5/17 for gas main renewal works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Phase 2 will commence after the completion of Phase 1 and each phase if expected to last approximately 8 weeks. Alternative route: Clepington Rd, A90 Kingsway Flyover and A90 Kingsway (Phase 1) and A90 Kingsway, Old Glamis Rd and Gillburn Rd (Phase 2).
