On 14/3/17 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (FINAVON STREET AND FINTRY ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Finavon St from its junction with Fintry Rd to its junction with Fintry Dr and (2) Fintry Rd from its junction with Fintry Dr to a point 35m or thereby in a southerly direction (this section of road serves houses no 13-19 Fintry Rd).. The Order is operative for 30 weeks from 20/3/17 for works for a new housing development, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Finavon St will be closed in several sections with only one section closed at any time. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible. Access to the medical centre will be maintained at all times from one or either end. Alternative route: Fintry Road, Longhaugh Rd, A90 Forfar Rd, Fintry Dr and reverse.
