On 2/8/16 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (CONSTABLE STREET AND ST ROQUES LANE, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) St Roques Ln from its junction with Cowgate/Constable St in a northerly direction for its entire length and (2) Constable St for westbound traffic between St Roques Ln/Cowgate junction and Dens St. The Order is operative for 62 weeks from 8/8/16 for hotel development works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. East bound traffic in Constable St (between St.Roques Ln/Cowgate) is not affected by these works. Two way traffic in Constable St (between St.Roques Ln/Cowgate junction and Dens St) will be changed to one way eastbound only for the duration of the works. Alternative route: not required as St Roques Ln is a cul de sac.
