On 29/8/13 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (MACAULAY STREET, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2013 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Macaulay St from Carmichael St to Somerville Pl North. The Order is operative for 7 days from 9/9/13 for carriageway resurfacing works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. The junctions of Stirling Ave and Upper Constitution St with Macaulay St will be closed for the duration of the works. Alternative routes: northbound vehicles - Drummond St, Somerville Pl, Constitution St, Rosebank St and Kinghorne Rd, southbound vehicles – Kinghorne Rd, Hilltown, Constitution St, Somerville Pl and Drummond St.
