(TEMPORARY PART-TIME 20MPH SPEED LIMIT)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that The Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The general effect of the Traffic Regulation Order will be to impose a temporary part-time 20mph speed limit on specified lengths of roads in the vicinity of Duncow Primary School as detailed within the confines indicated by a solid black line on the plan below and in the Schedule during such times as the amber lights on the sign shown in the Appendix are flashing.
The temporary speed limit is necessary to alleviate the likelihood of danger to the public caused by the potential conflict and collision between vehicles, pedal cycles and pedestrians on the roads stated by traffic travelling at speeds.
The temporary speed limits will be in force within Duncow from 00.00hrs, 10 July 2023 until 23.59hrs, 9 January 2025 (18 months).
