(B7042 PINMINNOCH – SANDHEAD & C9W AUCHENCLOY ROAD)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
ORDER 2023
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the B7042 from Awhirk Farm to Sandhead junction and the C9w full length from B7042 to A716 from 9am on 20/02/2023 to 5pm on 24/03/2023.
The closure will be carried out in 4 parts and will be signed accordingly. The road sections will re-open as works progress.
The closure is necessary for installation of a new water main.
Alternative route available via:
B7042 section: B7042, A716, B7077 (Lochans), A77(P), B7042 and vice versa.
C9w sections: B7042, A716, B7077 (Lochans), A77(P), C32w (Awhirk), B7042 and vice versa
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
