(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
ORDER 2022
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close various roads as listed below on Thursday 4th August 2022.
The closure/s are necessary to facilitate activities associated with Port William Carnival.
The alternative route/s are:
- During The Square closure – via High Street, Commercial Street and vice versa.
- During parade – no alternative route available. Drivers should expect minor delays for the duration of the parade.
Emergency vehicle access will be available if required.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
