(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)

ORDER 2020

 

Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close A709 Dumfries Road, Lockerbie between Grant Avenue and A74(M) bridge from 09.00 on Monday 6th of April to 17:00 on Thursday 9th of April 2020.

 

The closure is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing / strengthening works.

 

Alternative route suitable for all vehicles available via B7076 – A701(T) – A75(T) and vice versa and locally for vehicles up to 7.5T Westbound via C91a – U338a Muirhead – B7076 and Eastbound via B7076 – C92a Queen’s Roundabout – C91a.

 

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
