THE DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL

(COLLEGE MAINS, PHASE 1, DUMFRIES)

(20 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT)

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020

Notice is hereby given that Dumfries and Galloway Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. The general effect of the Order will be to make it unlawful to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour along the lengths of road detailed in the Schedule to the Order.

2. Copies of the draft Order and a Statement of Reasons may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours (9am – 4:30pm) between 13 December 2019 and 17 January 2019 at:

• Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HS.

3. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds and including their name and address, to the undersigned by 17 January 2020.
