DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL
(DUMFRIES CHRISTMAS LIGHTS EVENT)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2019
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close High Street from 07:30hrs to 22:30hrs Sunday 1st December 2019.
The closures will be located as follows:
- U769n High Street - between English Street and the Burns Statue.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the holding of events associated with Dumfries Christmas Lights Switch-on.
Access will be maintained to the south end of High Street for permitted vehicles from Shakespeare Street with egress via English Street.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
