(WEIGHT RESTRICTION)

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020

Notice is hereby given that Dumfries and Galloway Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. The general effect of the Order will be to make it unlawful to drive any heavy commercial vehicle over the specified tonnes maximum gross weight (7.5 tonnes) along the length of road detailed in Schedule One to the Order, except for access.

2. Copies of the draft Order and a Statement of Reasons may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours (9am – 4:30pm) between 14 November 2019 and 6 December 2019 at:

• DG Customer Services, 31-33 High Street, Lockerbie DG11 2JL.

3. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds and including their name and address, to the undersigned by 6 December 2019.
