TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2019

 

Notice is hereby given that The Dumfries and Galloway Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

 

  1. The general effect of the Traffic Regulation Order will be to impose:
  • “No Waiting At Any Time” restrictions on specified lengths of A714 New Road, A714 North Main Street, C15w North Main Street, U374w High Vennel, U374 Duncan Park, U375w Jubilee Terrace, U377w Kirkland Hill and U378w Lochancroft Lane,

  • “No Waiting (Monday – Friday (inclusive), 8.30am – 9.30am and 2.30pm – 3.30pm” restrictions on specified lengths of A714 New Road, and

  • “No Stopping (Monday – Friday (inclusive), 8.30am – 9.30am and 2.30pm – 3.30pm” restrictions on specified lengths of A714 New Road.

 

  1. Exceptions to the proposed restrictions are as stated in the Order.

 

  1. Details of the proposals, with plans (TM/W/01/201 and 202), Draft Order, Statement of Reasons and relevant Orders to be revoked may be inspected during normal office hours (09.00 – 16.30hrs) between 15th August 2019 and 5th September 2019 at:
  • Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HS,
  • John McNellie Library, Wigtown County Buildings, Wigtown DG8 9JH.

 

  1. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds and including their name and address, to the undersigned by 5th September 2019.
