(WAITING RESTRICTIONS)

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2019

Notice is hereby given that The Dumfries and Galloway Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1.  The general effect of the Traffic Regulation Order will be to impose:

• “No Waiting At Any Time” restrictions on specified lengths of C14w Charlotte Street and U487w St Andrew Street,

• “60 Minute Limited Waiting (Monday – Saturday (inclusive), 8.00am – 6.00pm, No Return Within 60 Minutes” restrictions on specified lengths of C14w Charlotte Street and U487w St Andrew Street, and

• “Area of Road to be used as Taxi/Loading Bay” restriction on the specified length of C14w Charlotte Street.

2.  Exceptions to the proposed restrictions are as stated in the Order.

3.  Details of the proposals, with plans (TM/W/01/199 and 200), Draft Order, Statement of Reasons and Relevant Orders to be revoked may be inspected during normal office hours (09.00 – 16.30hrs) between 11^th July 2019 and 1^st August 2019 at:

• Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HS,

• Stranraer Library and Customer Service Centre, North Strand Street, Stranraer DG9 7LD.

4.  Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds and including their name and address, to the undersigned by 1^st August 2019.
