(U(F)3a LANGHOLM SUSPENSION BRIDGE, LANGHOLM)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
ORDER 2019
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close Langholm Suspension Bridge (pedestrian) - full length from 09:00 Monday 24th June to 17:00 Friday 23rd August 2019.
The closure is necessary to facilitate footbridge refurbishment.
Alternative pedestrian route: via Elizabeth Street, Thomas Telford Road, High Street, George Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be not be maintained over the bridge during the works.
