(U427n BURNHEAD – QUEEN’S DRIVE AND U426n VIRGINHALL)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) No.2 ORDER 2018

 

Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U427n (between Burnhead and Drumlanrig Bridge) and U426n public roads to northbound traffic from 07:00 hours on Saturday 18th August 2018 to 19:00 hours on Sunday 19th August 2018.

 

The closure is necessary to manage traffic attending the Galloway Country Fair at Drumlanrig Castle. A one-way system will operate for southbound traffic.

 

The alternative vehicular route is via the A702, A76(T) and U427n. Pedestrian access will be controlled by event marshals.
