(U993n SMITH PLACE, DUMFRIES)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) No.2 ORDER 2017
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close Smith Place between Houliston Avenue and Beck Avenue from 18:00 Friday 1st September 2017 to 18:00 31st December 2017. This is a continuation of TTRO currently in place.
The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water water main works.
Alternative route: via Houliston Avenue, Ryedale Road, Rosefield Road, Holm Avenue, Hill Avenue and vice versa.
For the duration of the closure the emergency vehicle access between Smith Place and Hill Avenue will be opened to allow access.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
