(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) No.2 ORDER 2017

 

CARRS BILLINGTON RIDE OUT

 

 

Dumfries and Galloway Council in exercise of their powers under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(6) of the said Act, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on the roads listed in the Schedule below for the purpose of facilitating the holding of these special events. The Order shall be in force at the times specified in the Schedule hereto and shall have effect only at such times as indicated by appropriate traffic signs or under the instruction of a police officer in uniform.

 

There are no alternative routes.

 

Drivers should expect minor delays for the duration of the event.

 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

1st Ride   Out, Carrs Billington – from John   Bell Playing Field via Solway Street, Hecklegirth, Seafield Road, via   track/fields to U142a, U142a, C39a, Seafield Road, onto shore at Whinnyrig,   via shore to Dornock Brow, U147a, B721, Bellevue Road, U203a, C43a, via track   to Tulliesfield, U200a, C43a, B6357, Annan Business Park Road, stop at Carrs   Billington, B6357, via path to Stapleton Road, Stapleton Road, Scotts Street,   Solway Street, returning to John Bell Playing Field.
