Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under Section 14(7) and Section 14(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other powers, and after consultation with the Chief Constable in terms of Part III of Schedule 9 of that Act, to temporarily relax the Stranraer Town Centre Restricted Zone Traffic Order 2010.
The suspension will allow taxis to enter, drop off passengers, wait and pick up fares from within the restricted length of Charlotte Street at the times listed below. The location will be controlled by Taxi Marshalls during the periods of the relaxation.
