ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (SMIDDY LANE LOCHGILPHEAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
On Friday 12 August 2022, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on that length of the U015 Smiddy Lane, from its junction with the C62 Colchester Square/Argyll Street extending in a westerly direction to outside Icon Hairdressing.
The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required because essential works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road will be effective, when indicated by signs to minimise the potential impact on those affected.

Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes. The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required because of the likelihood of danger to the public and will be effective when indicated by signs for the duration of the works.
