ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (COWAL HIGHLAND GATHERING)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022
On Monday 25th July 2022, Argyll and Bute Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 16A of the Roads Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, made the above named Order which will make it unlawful, for a temporary period, for any person to wait, drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle with the exception of emergency services vehicles on any roads in a manner contravening the Schedules to this Order on the occasion of the Cowal Highland Gathering.
The restrictions, which are necessary to facilitate the holding of the event and because of considerations of public safety and convenience, will be in operation when indicated by signs, on the dates and between the hours as detailed within the Schedules below.
If a vehicle is parked without complying with the provisions of this order, then a contravention will have occurred. A penalty charge notice may then be issued by a parking attendant and a penalty charge will be payable.
