On Monday 19th July 2021, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on that length of the U003 Low Askomil Road, Campbeltown, from its junction with  the B842 High Askomil road extending in an eastern direction to its junction with the Fort Argyll Farm access road, a distance of 1,155 metres or thereby

 

The restrictions, which are required because essential maintenance works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of road, will be in operation every day between 0001 hours from the fifth day of August until 2359 hours on the second day of December 2021, but will only have effect in relation to part or parts of the length of road when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs to minimise the potential impact on those affected.

 

Alternative routes will be signed in an appropriate manner.
