Argyll and Bute Council (Various Streets, Lochgilphead) (Temporary Traffic Management) (No.2) Order 2021 - Argyll & Bute Archived

On Monday 29^th March 2021, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, the following restrictions will apply:

SCHEDULE 1 - PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME

U12 Union Street, Lochgilphead

On the northeast side, from its junction with Argyll Street extending in a south-easterly direction to its junction with Manse Brae, a distance of 331 metres or thereby.

C67 Lorne Street, Lochgilphead

On the north side, from its junction with Argyll Street extending in a westerly direction to its junction with the U007 Lorne Street, a distance of 219 metres or thereby.

C67 Lorne Street, Lochgilphead

On the west side, From its junction with Poltalloch Street (A83 Trunk Road) extending in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 132 metres.

SCHEDULE 2 - PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Colchester Square (C62)

From its junction with the Tarbet-Lochgilphead-Campbeltown Trunk Road (A83), extending in a northerly direction to its junction with Argyll Street a distance of 40 metres or thereby.

Argyll Street (C62)

From its junction with the north side of Colchester Square extending in a northerly direction to its junction with Union Street a distance of 72 metres or thereby.

Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire and rescue services, ambulance or police purposes, a vehicle being used for carrying out the works, or a vehicle requiring access/egress to and from affected properties when possible and as directed by traffic management operatives on site. The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required to allow essential works to be carried out on or near the road will be effective when indicated by signs from 0000 hours on Monday 5^th April 2021 to 2359 hours on Friday 23^rd April 2021, or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier.
