Argyll and Bute Council give notice that on Monday the 22nd day of March 2021 they made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on that length of the Cairndow Village Loop Road in Cairndow, from its junction with the access to Ardkinglas Woodland Gardens extending in a southerly thence easterly direction to its junction with the Arrochar-Inveraray-Campbeltown Trunk Road (A83) a distance of 600 metres or thereby.

The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required because essential works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road will be effective from 0800 hours on the 5th of April until 1800 hours on the 31st of May 2021 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earliest, but will only have effect when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes, a vehicle being used for carrying out the works or a vehicle requiring access/egress to and from affected properties when possible and as directed by traffic management operatives on site.
