Argyll and Bute Council give notice that on Monday the 1st day of March 2021 they made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on that length of the B839 Hells Glen to Lochgoilhead Road, from its junction with the A815 Cairndow-Strachur-Toward Road near Ardno extending in a generally south easterly direction to its junction with the B828 Glenmore Road, a distance of 6000 metres or thereby.

The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required because essential works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road will be effective daily, (excluding the weekend) between the hours of 0800 and 2000 from the 15th day of March 2021 until Sunday the 1st day of August 2021 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earliest, but will only have effect when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes, a vehicle being used for carrying out the works or a vehicle as directed by traffic management operatives on site.
