On Monday 24th August 2020, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, the following restrictions will apply:

Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes, a vehicle being used for carrying out the works or a vehicle being driven under the direction of a traffic management operative. The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required to allow essential works to be carried out on or near the road will be effective when indicated by signs from 0001 hours on Monday the 31st of August 2020 until 2359 hours on the 31st January 2022 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier. The parking restrictions will be phased in 50 to 60 metre lengths to reduce the impact at any one time. The prohibition of entry will only be effective when works are in progress at the affected junctions.
